Before I came to ZEAL, I was very skeptical. I was scared that I’d feel stuck in a place of stagnancy or in a sea of fear. I had no idea what the Lord had in store for me in St. Pete, and Lord knows I would’ve ran as far as the east is from the west if I did.

Being in the school was hard; hard to keep your identity rooted in Christ. Hard to not get too comfortable. Hard to accept constructive criticism. Hard to realize and except not knowing everything. Hard to not desire being the “perfect student”. Hard to not lose your self in a silly ministry title. Hard to use free time wisely and intentionally.

While this is true, ZEAL was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I’ve never been stretched spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally as much as I was during that year. The Lord MOVED whether we were ready or not. He was there the whole way, and is still doing amazing things. If you’re looking for a school of ministry that will not just fill your mind with powerful scripture, but will be surrounded by people that walk out the characteristics of Jesus, you’ve found it. If you’re looking for a place to push you pass what you think you can handle, (which you probably aren’t) this is the one. God is doing crazy things through this ministry, so why not be apart of it?!
